Municipal officers were required to raise the level of coordination between all stakeholders included in security projects in the community. They asked every village to send their request at the directorate. Among problems mentioned at this roundtable were also the violence and incidents at schools, forest cutting, traffic insecurity, lack of walking paths, deaths caused by car accidents, dangers from floods etc.

Representatives from these villages have mentioned problems with energy and the KEK negligence towards renewing the network, regardless of the village participation in funding. They also mentioned problems with waste and pollution as a consequence of a high flow of people at the Prevalla resort, the lack of emergency protection such as firemen, danger due to mountain configuration of the roads etc. They stressed that this was the first meeting of the Zhupë region’s villages, and they made a commitment to gather once more within a month to establish a representational council for Zhupë villages, that will coordinate and engage in solving the above-mentioned problems.
